1 medium size egg
2 tablespoons oil
1/2 cup water
1 pack MAYA Original Hotcake Mix 200 g
How to cook:
Beat egg slightly in a bowl; add in oil,water and hotcake mix. Stir just until slightly lumpy (Do not overmix). Pour 1/4 to 1/3 cup batter onto a pre-heated, slightly greased griddle or pan. Cook until bubbly. Turn to cook the other side. Serve with syrup, honey or ham. Makes 6-8 hotcakes.
MAYA DESSERT CREPES
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup water
1 cup MAYA Original Hotcake Mix
Beat eggs slightly then add butter, water and hotcake mix. Stir until mixture is free from lumps. Heat an 8-inch non stick pan or flat skillet and lightly brush with oil. Pour 1/4 cup of the mixture into the pan. Tilt pan from side to side to cover the pan. Cook until set. Flip to cook the other side. Do the same for the remaining mixture. Fill each crepe with desired filling. Roll up and serve.
Suggested filling: Arrange slices of ripe mangoes or canned peaches on top of each crepe with the whipped cream. Makes 12-15 crepes.
Personal Review: Definitely the perfect mix to make yummy hotcakes and crepes. Very affordable.
