I am blogging about 51talk because I am proud to say that I am one of their happy ESL teachers. I am really enjoying the job. The fact that you need not to travel away from your home is such a great benefit. Thus, I am working from home and earning money higher than the previous call center jobs that I had.
Recruitment is hassle-free. All you need to do is to wait for their call to schedule you for the skype interview and then you will be invited for the training.
The job is easy. No worries, 9/10 of the students are willing to learn, patient, and enthusiastic. You will not feel tired and uncomfortable talking with them. They are willing to listen to you and learn from you.
Of course, there are some requirements needed: Headset, Webcam, and an internet speed of at least 1 mbps or more.
They accept undergrads, part-time students, college graduates and professionals as long as you are capable of teaching and has a passion to help Chinese students to improve their English oral skills.
