I had a high fat content meal yesterday. I took Alli 1 before and 1 after.
Nothing happened. None of the side effects. I have been taking this product for two weeks and NOTHING.
No orange oily stool, like has happened in the past when I have bought this product from local box stores.
This product usually works very well. Too well. Ha!
But, not the two bottles I bought from Amazon. I tried them both. This is a bad batch or a fake product.
Do not buy from here. Go to Target or Walmart.
I'm sorry Amazon, we have had a good relationship. But, this time, I feel like I've been duped.
I am a compulsive, emotional eater. I have tried so many different diets and gimmicks, too many to list. I have lost and regained the same 100+ pounds over the past 40yrs. What is different this time you may be asking? I surrendered to a Higher Power, that I needed help, I could no longer do this on my own! No diet in the world will sustain you, if you do not change your thinking and deal with the emotions that keep you repeating the same negative patterns. I have chosen to combine Weight Watchers FreeStyle program and Alli together. Alli makes me accountable to reading labels and making healthier choices, as does WW. Because quite frankly, who wants to experience the embarrassing "treatment effects" that I've read about!! Since starting both two weeks ago, I have had NO treatment effects, leakage, staining, ect. My first week I lost 4.5#'s. This week I'm down 3#. A Great healthy start!! What I notice more is, I'm losing inches more rapid than loss, which is great. It does make me pee quite often, which I believe it is breaking down waste and ridding me of it. People...there is no "magic pill", but there is help. YOU, have to want to make the change and it takes time. I have an "Alli" in helping me stay accountable to myself. Good luck on your own journey to a healthier, happier YOU.
I bought this about a month ago to help with my premenstrual symptoms, as I get very intense food cravings a few days per month and I wanted something to help keep me on track during the times I don't eat as well as I should. Normally my meals dont contain enough fat to see visible results with this. Well, we had Dominos yesterday and as they all say, NEVER TRUST A FART!! Grease went through two layers of clothing and our nice bedsheets are currently in the wash. The amount of grease in the toilet was horrendously satisfying and I can now say with full confidence that THIS STUFF WORKS!! I'm equal parts thrilled and disgusted.
BUYER BEWARE!!
I have purchased this product before from a local drug store and it worked. It is amazing how well it worked. Then I bought it from this Amazon distributor and it didn't work. How do I know? Because of how the "real" product works. The real product blocks up to 25% of the fat absorption. There should be floating oil in your bowel movements - this is the fat that you ate and was blocked.
Now, when I ate a very fatty meal there was some. So I thought "what is the problem?" So I went to local drug store and bought a bottle of Alli. I took some of the pills apart from each. Both had what appeared to be the same content, but the Amazon purchased product had about half of the active ingredient. Then I held the pills up to the light yes the Amazon product had about half the filing of the locally purchased Alli.
I don't know how that is possible, but that is what I experienced and discovered.
I did begin a return but then I noticed it stated that the product must be in its unopened package - well I guess I got burned on this one.
I depend upon other costumers ratings and darn it this time I didn't look at the ratings. Other costumers have had similar experiences. I didn't check the ratings because I have been using the product and already knew it works. Darn it!!
True story (Seriously):
I purchased this product for my wife and I at the beginning of our diet, which is still going great by the way. There are so many products that make false claims and I thought this was one of them.
I was WRONG. I followed a very moderate diet, low in fat and carbs but high in protein. Everything was going great, but my wife kept telling me fat was passing through her (if you know what I mean).
Every time she would say that, I responded with “Ha! You are crazy. I’m 100% certain that these pills don’t work.” And to prove my point I decided to eat Taco Bell.
There is a stained chair in our house that paid the consequences for my actions. After eating the Taco Bell, life carried on as it usually does. The next day I sat down on our fabric covered kitchen chair and perused the internet on my laptop.
My stomach started to rumble and in the back of my mind I remember reading a post on the product that stated “Never trust a fart.” I disobeyed.
Next is where all chaos broke loose. I sat in that chair thinking to myself that something doesn’t feel quite right, but I continued on with my journey of Facebook. It wasn’t until I stood did I see the horror, a discolored stain on my wife’s beautiful gray chair.
I thought back to the past hour that I sat in that chair and realize I spilled no water or food. So, I done what any logical human being would do. I smelled it. After a few gags, thoughts of what it must feel like to be a baby, confusion, and self-pity, I ran to the bathroom.
After changing and taking the most humiliating shower of my life, I realized that this stuff really does work and heed to the warnings on the label.
Please... Don’t make the mistakes I did and tempt fate. It won’t be pretty and you may ruin a chair that your wife adored. I say adore(d), because some poor soul has to reupholster this chair because of my love for Taco Bell and stupid decisions.
TL;DR (Too long didn’t read): This stuff works great, sullied a chair my wife loved, follow the directions and you will be fine.
