This is my personal review about the Digital Kingcom Joypad Tablet PC 71.

This android 2.2 tablet pc I bought in Wellcom Sm Molino branch comes with a 1 year replacement service and parts warranty so it is safer to say that it is better to buy Joypad than the China's Apad because the latter only offers 1 month replacement warranty.

It also comes with a U-Disk, you'll need to use this if you want to transfer files from your flash drive. You'll use this also if you want to connect to the internet via Ethernet.

I am not so sure why the brochure says that it comes with a stylus but when I asked the sales clerk the package does not include it.

PROs

When you want to have an iPad but you can't just afford to buy one, you may want to try the Kingcom Joypad. You can buy this for only 5,300 pesos.

Easy to use and a good alternative to laptop when you do basic internet surfing like checking your yahoo mail, reading news blog and watching youtube videos.

It can read powerpoint presentation and ms word via its pro office suite.

CONs

The battery is easy to get drain. It only can give you less than an hour of playing games, listening to music and surfing the internet. You should always plug the battery charger to enjoy it which is not recommendable because it can damage the battery easily.

I am having a hard time downloading android apps. It keeps on saying download failed. I don't know if I have to configure anything or what not. Good thing I am not really into games and downloads.

Yumpanada, the first thing that popped up in my mind after seeing this kiosk is delicious empanada. And believe me, when I got a chance to taste their goodies, my golly! it's really yummy.

It is amazing to know that a small piece of yumpanada only costs 5 pesos. Big ones, if I remember it right, costs less than 20 pesos. Variety of flavors are available; chicken, beef adobo, ham and cheese and my favorite among those, the spicy tuna empanada. And wow! hot sauce are available so you can double the chilly flavor. You can't say no with this empanadas.

After having a full lunch, I always love to eat something sweet like having a cone of ice cream. So one day, after I had my prelim exam done, I went to a mall near our college campus to treat myself a frosty ice cream delight. A bear cone of MIGUELITO'S ICE CREAM.

The flavorful chocolate and the crunchiness of its bear cone are really a mouth watering treat. For only 6 pesos, you can have a super yummy ice cream. Moreover, a variety of flavors are surely can make your stomach crave for something sweet and delicious. I have tried some of these flavors already:

One of the chinese ointment I tried is Katinko. It is a green menthol formulated ointment that is said to be a good relief for a person who is experiencing muscle pain, toothache, headache and even stomachache. Yes, I tried to used this pain relieverIt was recommended to me by a colleague.

This menthol formulated ointment brings a quick relief however it will just be temporary. It does not cure muscle pains constantly. This chinese ointment can only give a pacifying effect to any external pains of the body but not to cure. I can testify to that, because I still did take some medication one time I suffered from muscle pains.

It isn't also pleasing to my sense of smell. Moreover, it also can bring a burning sensation when you accidentally spread it near your eyes or your nostrils. Here is an advice, just apply a small amount of this ointment to avoid the burning effect.

Katinko is a cheap brand of chinese ointment available in all leading pharmacies here in the Philippines. Although the product is quite effective, just to reiterate, don't expect that your muscle pains can be cured permanently. Well for a non-costly brand of ointment, it is expected that you will get less benefit. What do you think?

Another food delight in the Philippines is Pilipit or twisted bread, it is very hard to grind but it is the essence why you should try this one. The crunchier the better. It is a sweet bread, and sometimes can be a good partner for breakfast or snack time. This is actually very rare to see in a regular store but gladly one time I was able to buy one in a mini grocery near my place, the twisted bread has a brand name, it is Marky's.

The taste of Marky's is quite good, the real taste of the Pilipit is there, yummy and sweet. Let me tell you how I enjoyed eating its twisted breads. I bought a choco sundae at a fast food chain and slightly dunk the twisted bread. It's a little bit odd, but doing it will make your eating of Pilipit more enticing to your appetite. I am just glad that despite of the high demand for imported goods in the Philippines, there are still companies that continuously supporting filipino products. Like this Pilipit by Marky's. And another good thing is, the price is really cheap and everybody who loves Pilipit will surely can afford to buy the brand.

Eat Marky's Pilipit when your stomach is grumbling , it will be enough to stop your starving quite a bit. Bring it in your backpack whenever you have an out of town, Pilipit is a good treat while traveling for long hours. Another restaurant I frequently visit whenever I am strolling in malls around the city and I ended up starving. One of the best food spot I go to is Cabalen Restaurant, where all the dishes are truly delicious.

Cabalen Restaurant is a place to visit whenever you're craving for some authentic filipino dishes. They are well-known for their native cooking of Pampanga's dishes such as ginataang alimango, crispy kangkong, kalamaris, kare-kare, and a whole lot more, all are amazingly flavorful and mouth-watering. There are some competitors trying to imitate the concept of Cabalen. But for me, they can never copy the magic of their recipe.

It was one sizzling hot afternoon when I went to somewhere in Dasma City to buy some stuff. And seriously the hotness tempted me to buy something that could bring a frosty feeling inside my body. And yes, I bought Selecta Choco Almond Fudge ice cream. And honestly, it's real mouth-watering.

Choco Almond Fudge is another chocolaty ice cream offer of Selecta. It is a bit pricey compare to Dan Eric's ice cream which is my real favorite. But since I can't find Dan Eric's in that place. I ended up buying Selecta. With the taste that is so flavorful, the choco fudge that really melts in the mouth, and the crunchy almonds that make it more appealing to my taste buds... I can't stop myself asking for more.

I don't know why all the flavors of Pringles is so mouth-watering. One thing I know the ingredients has something that you will surely crave for more and ask for more. Once you pop you just can't stop! Aside from the plain one, the flavors of pizza, sour cream and onion, and the hot and spicy are my favorites.

Pringles is not a local brand of chips. So in my country, it is pricey to buy this. But thanks to the manufacturers because they recently launched Pringles in small packs that is more affordable but never it compromise the quality of the taste.

Whenever I have outdoor activities that I need to attend, outings or out of town meetings. I make sure that my favorite chips are inside my backpack. And one of those chips is Pringles.

One small pack of pringles is not enough to satisfy my cravings. So if budget allows me to buy the regular can, I do. Besides, it is worth the money. I forget about being frugal when I see Pringles chips staring at me while standing in the grocery shelves.

The phone looks so sophisticated in its black and red color, the qwerty keypad makes it look more appealing and will surely thrill someone to grab this kind of phone. It is slim and light, seems all the physical feature of the phone looks so amazing and enticing plus the fact that this phone is so affordable for all walks of life.

But to tell you honestly , the Q22 duo myphone is just one of the weakest phone when it comes to specs and quality. The camera function has a very low resolution, it produces blurry pictures which sad to say, you can't even show-off to your online friends. The video recording is also slow and not producing real time captures. The audio also is too loud to the point that it may sound crappy. I can't even customize my theme which is the very poor feature of the phone. The only thing I like about it is the battery that can last for almost a week.

But because of the media hype about this shampoo, I was convinced to try it thinking that it will be an effective preventive and cure to hair fall. But to my dismay, this shampoo is unsatisfactory. It does not give the benefit that I wanted, I have not seen any improvements on my hair. I remain having hair falls. Other than the fresh smell it gives to my hair I can see no other good remarks about this brand of shampoo. It seems every news that I heard about this shampoo is so overrated.

So I discontinued using Pantene and switch to other brand of shampoo that is far effective than the first one. Hair Fall Control? Pantene Shampoo, think twice.

This Aquafresh ISO Active Toothpaste is really not my regular toothpaste but I had a chance to try it once when I visited my Aunt's house. That is the first and the last that I tried using this toothpaste brand. It is not because that I am not impress, its just because I rarely find it in the groceries near my place.

More on the product itself, it has a unique container similar to a shaving cream, when you first see the packaging, you may not immediately identify that this is a toothpaste brand. However the container has some disadvantage, you can't see or feel when it will be emptied.

Regarding the taste, it is minty actually so it brings real cooling effect leaving your mouth fresh. The gel that turns into foams really whitens the teeth amazingly.

Aquafresh ISO Active Toothpaste is not a well known brand in the Philippines. This maybe because it is a little bit pricy as compare to leading brands as told by my aunt. Well, with the effectiveness, I must say, it is worth it to use this product and I highly recommend this.

I admit, I defaulted one of my credit cards and experienced being harassed on the phone by this so called credit card debt collectors. At first, I was very intimidated by their yelling until I found out that this should not be the case. I am glad that I found one filipino blog that helps credit card defaulter . From reading the posted articles there, I understand that credit card debt collector can't do nothing but just to scare me.

Now I know that defaulting my credit card is not a criminal case so it won't affect my N.B.I records. I heard many lies from different credit card debt collectors and here are some you may want to know :

1. Being accused of violating RA 8484. This is a lie, this law is only for those people who defraud credit cards. People who uses fake identity to get a credit card. On that note, it is a baloney statement that they are accusing me of this criminal case to think that my only mistake is I just can't pay my debts.

2. They texted me and say I already have warrant of arrest and I should pay my debt in full in 5 days. It scared me but realization freed me from paranoia. Come to think of it, if you're a criminal, will you not leave your house immediately after hearing that you already have warrant of arrest? For your information, warrant of arrest is given by the authority in a surprise visit not in text or over the phone. And besides, this is just serve for people who does have criminal cases not civil cases.

3. They keep on calling me, hearing bad words from them almost everyday. My advise, just let them do it, and once their done tell them that you will pay only if they will file this case in court. Because in the court, everything will be legal and fair.

These are not the only threats that I heard from them, there's more and its countless. But I am not afraid of them no more. Now that I know my right as a debtor. If in case that you experience threats and harassment from a credit card debt collector here in the Philippines, you can file a complaint against them for violating BSP Circular No. 454.

100 pesos for my travel expenses, 100 pesos for my meal, 50 for emergency expenses for the day...this was how hard I budget my money when I was still working in Makati. Yes, if you thought that all employees in this city has extravagant life you are actually given a misleading fact. Let me tell you for almost five years of work as a call center agent, my salary aren't enough to supplement mine and my family basic needs. That was the reason why I learn to budget my money. In fact, in choosing my lunch that time, I prefer to buy the McDonald's Crispy Chicken Fillet with Rice than their classic Chicken Mcdo. Cheaper than the latter but still flavorful.

When compare to Chicken Mcdo it's true that the Crispy Chicken Fillet is smaller but if you notice the first one is just bony that it makes it look bigger than the fillet. Well in fact, I can appreciate more the taste of the real chicken when it's boneless, at least I will not have a hard time eating the chicken's flesh. And did I say the breading makes the Chicken Mcdo appearance bigger? True. Bottomline is, despite of being small, Mcdo chicken fillet proves that it can still satisfy my hunger after a long day in the office.

More than having a new celfone or latest gadget in the market, I would prefer to buy books. I love books, though I don't have a particular subject that I prefer to read. Fiction or non fiction, it doesn't matter to me, as long as it is interesting to read and I feel the enjoyment reading it. When I was still working at a call center in Makati, 3 hours before my shift starts , I regularly visiting Powerbooks Greenbelt Branch. The reason is that they are the only bookstore that allows you to sit in their couches while reading their books for free. The concept of the store is similar to a library where nobody will disturb you in reading. But of course, if its closing time, you need to leave and by the way, don't bring the book at home unless you bought it.

I prefer to buy books in Powerbooks than National Bookstore eventhough the price is more expensive. It is because customer service in Powerbooks Store is superb, people here are nice, friendly and very accomodating. One time I am looking for the book of Rich Dad Poor Dad, the sales representative helped me to find it quickly, and for other books that I am looking for, she assisted me in the kiosk where you can digitally find the books your searching for.

These days, who does not want to earn an extra income on top of your full time salary ? I must say all of us would love to have it. I know, because I feel the same thing. Rather I feel disappointed because it really does not work the way I want it to be. Nevertheless, using the Chameleon Tom application is a waste of time. And why do I say so?

First, it is imperative that you will install their plug- ins before you can change your facebook layout. And it will take time if you have a slow internet connection for sure. Why they can't make it easy like providing us html code to just copy and paste it to our fb page. Seems impossible I think. And secondly, why is it that we need to invite friends first to use this application before they can see our fb page change. Isn't it odd ? It should be instant that the user of this layout can show it to our friends even if they don't choose to use it. And besides, if my friends see my layout change for sure they will be thrill to use this application too. Isn't it?

I am trying to find other application that I can use to pimp my facebook page but I end up seeing the same banana. I think , there is really no way for now to change your facebook layout as easy as the old school friendster. Facebook is designed to be simple but very reliable compare to other social networking sites.

No, I am not pertaining to the popular animated series when I say Jejemon. Rather this is just another craze in the Philippines and is one of the hottest topic according to google and yahoo trends. What about this jejemon and who are they ?

I was listening to love radio 90.7 two days ago and heard Dj Chris Tsuper and Dj Nicolehiyala talking about the Jejemon. And that funny conversation gave me a clear view about what Jejemons is.

To explain this further, looking in the illustration above, you will have a hint about Jejemon phenomenon. Yes, it is simply pertaining to people who making a simple message into complicated one by adding some characters, using different font styles, seems like a new word but pronounce in the same way. This is commonly use by some in texting, chatting and yes, posting blurbs in social networking sites.

Though I am not one of the Jejemons, I have no bad comment about them as long as they enjoy on what they are doing. Well, they are still harmless although it is really a pain when you saw how they spell words...it's really hard to understand.

Face to Face " Talakserye" with Amy Perez

I am a big fan of this Face to Face talk show with Amy Perez. Believe it or not this show is far different from what you usually see in Philippine television during noontime. This show which is tagged as " First Talakserye" is really intriguing.

The concept of the show is unique, real people with some issues that they need to argue about in face of the camera ; neighbors who fought because of gossips, lovers who quarreled because of third party, gays who turned enemies because of beauty contest and what not. Yes, simple issues that turned into something big and complicated. I guess this is the spice of this show. Added to that, the host of the show which is Amy Perez is very professional and very fair in handling two sides of the stories. She also acts as a guardian trying to make both camps agreed on one thing ; to forgive and to forget. But when both camps clash , there are Bouncers to stopped the quarrel. I also love the portion where they have resident attorney to explain some legalities about a sensitive topic, also a psychologist and sociologist are present in the show.

Hence, it would be better that this show can be watch during late primetime than in noontime slot. I guess, kids are still at home during 10:30 am, this show is too harsh for younger kids to watch. Nevertheless, the show has a perfect ingredients for all walks of life. Two thumbs up for TV 5.

Gatsby Wax Yellow

Last week, my friend asked my opinion on what he can do about his hair to look shiny without spending too much in a salon. He feels uncomfortable on his dry hair, this also makes him feel insecure with others who have shiny hairs. And honestly, this is really affecting his self confidence.

Digitel Internet Service Provider

I made a positive review about Digitel before, but now I am becoming upset with regard to their internet service. Honestly, I am really fed up with how they handle their customers. Here is my story :

We were using PLDT DSL before in our internet cafe, but because of high expenses paying internet bills we decided to switch to a much cheaper cost internet provider which is Digitel. In all fairness, for almost 2 months using it, we were not encountering any trouble, the speed of the internet is quite the same with what PLDT has except if the customers are playing online games; they were experiencing log or delays but it's still okay...we were able to maintain our regular customers. Until we reached our third month using the service, and up to by now, we begin to encounter internet disconnection up to 4 hours or worst 8 hours. We started getting in touch with their customer service but most of the time we were receiving no answers at all. We also tried visiting their branch office in Dasma but what they can only do is to send a report to their technical department and asked us to wait for their technician to visit our internet cafe. Worst scenario, we needed to wait up to 24 hours for the technician to come.

I am no longer happy with Digitel internet, I have this same feeling during the time I was using PLDT DSL. However I can't just ask them to discontinue the service, this is because we have a 24 month contract bond. And come to think of it, what other internet providers can give exceptional service...PLDT? SMART? GLOBE? well, I guess none.I am just hoping that things will change and I am hoping it will be as soon as possible.

National College of Science and Technology

I last attended my college schooling back in 2003 and this year I finally have the opportunity to continue my studies. For two years I was an Adamsonian, but this time I am now with National College of Science and Technology or NCST.

I just enrolled yesterday, I have no idea yet if the school will offer the same quality education as what Adamson University offered to me. One main reason why I transferred to a college school is the accessibility of NCST to my hometown Cavite and to my internet shop where I do business. Other than these, I also heard some positive feedback about the school. Fact is, this is the school where my bestfriend finished his two years of Associate in Computer Technology before he took up his 4 year B.S Education in Philippine Christian University. He told me that the professors here are very diligent, dependable and has exceptional teaching skills.

I am also happy because they almost credit all my units earned in my previous school. For this semester, I only have 18 units to take ( but I am planning to add 3 more subjects ) and this only cost 14,000php. The uniforms are white barong and midnight blue pants, and I paid less than 500 pesos if I remember it right.

I also noticed that the school environment are very nice, they also have friendly students assistants, school personnels and admissions staff.

Last Sunday, we went to University of Santo Thomas for my bestfriend's LET board exam. It was so hot that time...waiting for him to finish the exam was a boredom. What can I do? I am his lucky charm that's why I was there to support him. I just brought a Bob Ong book, mp3 player, pen and paper just to kill some dullness. Fortunately, inside the UST campus, there is Mcdonald's - one of my favorite eating spot. And glad that they bring back my favorite Monster Fruity Green Apple Sprite Float. What a great long day.

This cold drink is very refreshing. The perfect taste of green apple soda matches the yummy vanilla flavored ice cream on top. I bought a large fries and a burger to make it more appealing to my appetite.

One regular size of this Mcdonald's green apple float is 25.00 pesos but if you are not contented, try there Monster size for only 38.00 pesos. Yes, very affordable and far better than having a regular size of soda.

Now that summer season is on. This is definitely a sure hit for everyone's thirst. Mcdo...love ko 'to =)

Have you tasted a vegetarian chicharon? Not yet? Well I recommend you to try Oishi's first ever vegetarian chicharon - Marty's Cracklin'. It is salty, sour, and crunchy, this is what I like about this junk food. And I am sure that once you have it you will surely ask for more.

I first tried this junk food when I was still working in Makati, one of my colleague brought this in the office. At first I was hesitant to try it because I don't like chicharon really. But when my colleague explained to me that this Marty's Cracklin' is very different from the regular chicharon and told me that this has no cholesterol at all. I was tempted to try it. And the rest is history. Fact is, this vegetarian chicharon is my addiction right now.

The price of big size Marty's Cracklin' is 20.00 pesos, they also have the small one priced at 5.00. It is very cheap compare to other junk food. However, one big size is not enough for me. I tend to buy another one.

Minute Burger is a popular burger chain in the Philippines, the first to offer Buy 1 Take 1 burgers for a low price. But is it as yummy as Jollibee or Mcdo burgers? Read.

I tried to eat there once and I can say that the burger patties are yummy. It is far better than Angel's Burger. I also like the ice choco they offer for only 20 pesos. It is really a good combination of a value burger meal. With regard to customer service, well it is a good idea that the customers see how they prepare the burgers. I also like the neatness of the service crews, they wear hairnets and apron. They also has a fast service that can accomodate 10 customers in less than 15 minutes.

Just one thing I notice, the service crews lack customer engagement. It would be better if they are also trained to give a warm welcome to their customers. A simple greeting or a nice smile will do. I believe that this can generate more customers for them overtime.

But since the burger is a great try and is very affordable. I will still give Minute Burger a two thumbs up.

It's almost past 4 months since my last day in Aegis People Support. I admit that even if I am earning a decent income online at the comfort of my own home, I still miss the workplace there especially my acquaintances.

Pilipinas Got Talent is a nationwide reality t.v show that showcases different talents of filipinos. From singing, dancing, magical performances, comic acts, etc, are here in this show. The three jurors are headed by Kris Aquino, Ai-ai Delas Alas and Freddie Garcia.

I was able to watch some of its episodes from youtube and I was really amazed on this show. Eventhough there are lots of talent shows in Philippine Television, this show is far spectacular than its competitors. Even from the original Talentadong Pinoy. This is proven by the high rating that it gained from it's premiere episode.

However, I just don't like how FMG, one of the juror, choose the contestant who will have a chance to show his/her talent on the next round or who is not. He is strict and sometimes stiff in his comments, unlike Aiai and Kris that are more affectionate to the contestants.

Well, overall, Pilipinas Got Talent is a great show to watch. All the episodes so far are extravagant.

Jumborger is a new burger chain here in the Philippines. It offers a super affordable burger meals, hotdog sandwiches, chinese siopao and more.

I was able to try one of their budget meals yesterday when I went to Dasma City. ( this is one of their branch near Waltermart ). Believe it or not ? Jumborger offers their footlong sandwich

( jumbo hotdog sandwich ) for only 10 pesos and their small cup of soda costs only 5 pesos. So far, this is the cheapest meal I tried. Yet, the affordability of their meals do not compromise the quality of how their food taste.

I am also satisfied on how fast the service is. My order was prepared in less than 5 minutes. I just hope that the service crews can improve on their customer service skills, learn how to smile and greet their customers. I think this will help boost their sales and have more regular customers in the future.

My Bad Experience in Chowking

Chowking is a well known chinese restaurant in the Philippines. Well known for it's halo-halo special, chowfan, siopao etc. You can buy a chinese food here for as low as 49.00 pesos.

But I had a bad experience dining in this restaurant, the one in Pacific Star Building Makati. I don't have any complaints about the food that they serve, Well in fact Chowking Meals are one of my favorites. But this is not about the food, this is about the service.

What happened was me and my friends waited too long, more than 15 minutes to get our meals. We were really starving that time, we really needed to have our meal done as quick as possible because we were just given a 30 minute break by our boss. I was working that time in E-performax. My colleague who was very confrontational and outspoken really approached the manager and told them that the service is really slow. In all fairness, the manager did apologize for the inconvenience.

Another worst scenario, when the food was served, we were surprised because that was not the food we ordered. My colleagues and me got upset and just asked to refund us the money.

This was the first time happened to me in Chowking specifically at this branch. This branch also does not have a clean area, there are lot of flies and the ac was not on.

Because of this bad experience we stopped dining in this branch of Chowking.

The Rcbc Tower in Makati

Have you already visited the RCBC tower?I just went there yesterday to visit a friend. This building is in Makati near Aegis People Support and Convergys.

I don't have much bad comments about this tower because everything here seems to be perfect. You are really secured to enter this building. There are lot of k9 dogs together with the guards roaming around, almost everywhere in the building.

While waiting for my friend, I enjoy visiting the tower because it has a lot to offer. Located in the second floor is my favorite coffee shop, Starbucks, there is also a gym, the well know Fitness First, convenience store, restaurants and other kiosk that offers food, magazines and books. The tower is really clean and well sanitized. It has sanitizers in every floor of the tower, specially near the elevators and escalators. Located in the 4th floor is a chapel for catholics.

For employment opportunities, there are a lot of call centers inside wherein you can try to submit an application as they accept daily walk-in applicants.

Just one thing I notice about this tower are the personnels or staff assign in guest relations like the guards. They must learn how to smile and enjoy their job. Other than that, RCBC tower is a nice place to visit specially when your working in Makati.

My computer shop has undergone a full renovation last 2 weeks. My partner and I decided to offer our customers a newly designed computer shop for their internet rental needs and services. It was successfully done as we observe that new customers are coming in to avail our offers.

We saw improvement in his profit in his printing services. My partner and I decided to try again the Continuous Ink System, this time with Ink Wise.

I can say that Ink Wise has a good customer service, they are very true in saying that they offer a service warranty in case that our printer ( Brother ) will get damage. Service warranty and the affordability are what I like about Ink Wise. If other offers your printer to be converted for 3,500.00 pesos...Ink Wise offer it to us half the price of their competitor.

As of today, our printer is working in good condition and it is now like a money making machine for our computer shop. That is the good thing of getting your printer converted into a Continuous Ink System. It will be less expensive if you do this than buying another ink cartridge when it got empty.

I definitely recommended Ink Wise for your printer services. They can convert all types of printer aside from that they also offer other pc parts and services. Good job Ink wise.
