Q22 Duo Myphone

My friend gave me his Q22 Duo because he already got a new one. So yes, this review is all about it. The phone looks so sophisticated in its black and red color, the qwerty keypad makes it look more appealing and will surely thrill someone to grab this kind of phone. It is slim and light, seems all the physical feature of the phone looks so amazing and enticing plus the fact that this phone is so affordable for all walks of life.

But to tell you honestly , the Q22 duo myphone is just one of the weakest phone when it comes to specs and quality. The camera function has a very low resolution, it produces blurry pictures which sad to say, you can't even show-off to your online friends. The video recording is also slow and not producing real time captures. The audio also is too loud to the point that it may sound crappy. I can't even customize my theme which is the very poor feature of the phone. The only thing I like about it is the battery that can last for almost a week.

Anyway, I have to like it simply because I got it from my friend for free. Who does not want a free phone though. So I used it for a month and gave it to my cousin who broke his phone just recently. Are you planning to buy a new mobile phone? Q22 Duo? Better think twice.

Ming's Pei Pa Koa Candies

I tried this Ming's Pei Pa Koa candies when I was still working as a local fm d.j in our province. Our station manager see to it that there are Pei Pa Koa candies available for us. She used to purchase a bag of Pei Pa Koa at Aurora, a chinese drugstore in front of FRC Mall Imus.  What about this candy? This is not just a candy actually because it also serves as a herbal medicine for sore throats. And this is only available in chinese drugstores so rarely you can see this in leading supermarkets.

The Ming's Pei Pa Koa candies taste so sweet and it really melts in the mouth. It has no awful taste of a medicine like other candies with medicinal effect and it smells so appealing. It brings cool sensation inside my mouth and that is what I like about this candy. When I start to love this candy, I see improvements in my voice quality. My voice seems okay even after a long hour talk. This candy really works wonderfully. A bag of Pei Pa Koa candy is pricey but if you think of the benefits, I can say that its worth spending your money for it. 

Pei Pa Koa candy is a herbal candy and based on my experience, it has no side effects. There is so much of bad remarks about chinese medicine nowadays but I can say that Pei Pa Koa is an exception. It only brings goodness and effectiveness. I highly recommend it.

I am not actually a regular customer of Watsons. But I visit this store whenever I am strolling in SM Mall and I feel that I am in need of medicine. As a consumer, I am fine with their customer engagement. They are very pleasant and very approachable. I also love the fact that Watsons also offer their cosmetic items, toiletries, food and beverages at a very low price. 

I also like that the items are properly arrange as always whenever I visit this store. I can easily find the item that I am looking for because they have shelves and stands arrange and items are displayed their according to its category. Star Margarine Garlic Flavor

I always find having bread and coffee on the table when breakfast appealing to my appetite. For me, this is the most important meal of the day. One thing for sure, I never skip breakfast no matter how hectic my schedule is. And also, I never miss to have bread with spread in my breakfast. And speaking of a yummy spread, one of my favorite is Star Margarine Garlic.

Star Margarine is available in all leading supermarket, it used to have one plain flavor before but now it comes with a variety and one of my fave is the garlic one. It's yummy and at the same time it brings wellness as this product contains vitamins and minerals. On top of that, it also has no cholesterol. This is such a good news for people who are health conscious like me. In fact, this is fortified by Department of Health.

So if you are a mom and you want your kids to be healthy, let them enjoy the taste of Star Margarine as well. And if you think that you can only enjoy the margarine in breads... you're wrong. There are more ways to enjoy it and spread it; rice, sweet potato and corn for example. Outrageously yummy!

Chuckie Chocolate Drink

I tried different labels of choco drink but this Chuckie brand is one of my favorite. I know that this is designed for kids but what can I do, I just love the taste and it is so addictive and so appealing to my appetite.

When Chuckie Chocolate Drink was new to the market, it was presented to the consumers by using a happy animated t.v commercials. I am sure that this helped the brand to outsell other tetra packed chocolate drinks. But one thing that I am sure of why Chuckie become famous is because it is really chocolaty, yummy and flavorful. The 250 ml of Chuckie is not enough to satisfy my cravings so I tend to drink more than that. When I was still working in the office, I never missed to bring Chuckie. The price is right for a chocolate drink that is so delicious and has health benefits as well. So what more can you ask for?

I love it when I drink it cold but when there are times that I want to unwind, I will simply put the tetra pack of Chuckie into a bowl of hot water to make it a perfect hot choco to sip. Then after emptying it, I will feel relax and stress-free. Ultimatey, Chuckie chocolate drink is an energy booster as well. So when you want to drink a chocolate that brings wellness. Chuckie Chocolate Drink, I highly recommend it.

Panteen Shampoo Hair Fall Control

I have tried different shampoo brands so I have many shampoo products that I can review. I am done reviewing Clear. Now I will talk about Pantene Shampoo. 

Pantene shampoo recently launch their t.v commercial focusing on giving us an idea that this shampoo can effectively control hair falls. Perhaps, this is the reason why I tried it. Who will not be fascinated to a product that was endorsed by famous celebrities? I admit, I am really thrilled. 

For almost a month, I tried buying daily sachets of Pantene even if it would cost me a lot. Yes, this shampoo is more pricey than other brands. But because of the media hype about this shampoo, I was convinced to try it thinking that it will be an effective preventive and cure to hair fall. But to my dismay, this shampoo is unsatisfactory. It does not give the benefit that I wanted, I have not seen any improvements on my hair. I remain having hair falls. Other than the fresh smell it gives to my hair I can see no other good remarks about this brand of shampoo. It seems every news that I heard about this shampoo is so overrated. 

So I discontinued using Pantene and switch to other brand of shampoo that is far effective than the first one. Hair Fall Control? Pantene Shampoo, think twice.

Aquafresh ISO Active Toothpaste

 This Aquafresh ISO Active Toothpaste is really not my regular toothpaste but I had a chance to try it once when I visited my Aunt's house. That is the first and the last that I tried using this toothpaste brand. It is not because that I am not impress, its just because I rarely find it in the groceries near my place.

More on the product itself, it has a unique container similar to a shaving cream, when you first see the packaging, you may not immediately identify that this is a toothpaste brand. However the container has some disadvantage, you can't see or feel when it will be emptied. 

Regarding the taste, it is minty actually so it brings real cooling effect leaving your mouth fresh. The gel that turns into foams really whitens the teeth amazingly.

Aquafresh ISO Active Toothpaste is not a well known brand in the Philippines. This maybe because it is a little bit pricy as compare to leading brands as told by my aunt. Well, with the effectiveness, I must say, it is worth it to use this product and I highly recommend this.

It is creamier, it is thicker and perhaps it is more chocolatey...this is Cream-O! My favorite cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies. One 6 peso pack of Cream-O has three cookies inside, prepare to dip it to a glass of milk and you will surely have a yummy breakfast. 

Cream-O is a Jack and Jill brand, no doubt that this brand of cookies become the top choice of many kids and young mavericks. More than the famous name it carries, is the quality biscuits it offers. The Cream-O comes in two flavors ; chocolate and vanilla, both are yummy cookies that you will surely ask for more. Aside from dipping it in milk, I also like the crunchiness when I sprinkle it around a frosty ice cream. The sweetness is perfect and it does have the addictive content that makes it appealing to the appetite.  It is outrageously mouth-watering.

Credit Card Debt Collector Job

I admit, I defaulted one of my credit cards and experienced being harassed on the phone by this so called credit card debt collectors. At first, I was very intimidated by their yelling until I found out that this should not be the case. I am glad that I found one filipino blog that helps credit card defaulter . From reading the posted articles there, I understand that credit card debt collector can't do nothing but just to scare me.

Now I know that defaulting my credit card is not a criminal case so it won't affect my N.B.I records. I   heard many lies from different credit card debt collectors and here are some you may want to know :

1. Being accused of violating RA 8484. This is a lie, this law is only for those people who defraud credit cards. People who uses fake identity to get a credit card. On that note, it is a baloney statement that they are accusing me of this criminal case to think that my only mistake is I just can't pay my debts.

2. They texted me and say I already have warrant of arrest and I should pay my debt in full in 5 days. It scared me but realization freed me from paranoia. Come to think of it, if you're a criminal, will you not leave your house immediately after hearing that you already have warrant of arrest? For your information, warrant of arrest is given by the authority in a surprise visit not in text or over the phone. And besides, this is just serve for people who does have criminal cases not civil cases.

3. They keep on calling me, hearing bad words from them almost everyday. My advise, just let them do it, and once their done tell them that you will pay only if they will file this case in court. Because in the court, everything will be legal and fair.

These are not the only threats that I heard from them, there's more and its countless. But I am not afraid of them no more. Now that I know my right as a debtor. If in case that you experience threats and harassment from a credit card debt collector here in the Philippines, you can file a complaint against them for violating BSP Circular No. 454.

One of my friend has this body odor, I am his closest friend that's why whenever someone are badmouthing on her, I feel sad. That's why I frankly advised her to use a deodorant. Since my cousin got married, I rarely seen her haggard. She appears to be more beautiful and energetic. She still actively participating in sports and other outdoor activities. I told my aunt that I enjoyed using their body wash so she gave me a bottle of it that I can use for three weeks. I used the body wash day and night and as expected, Ivory Body Wash never fail me in giving only the natural fragrance and clearness to my body and skin. I highly recommend it.

5 years ago, my young sibling who was 10 years old that time wasn't tall compare to me when I was on his age. He likes to have it partnered with milk than pouring it in it. This is because he wants to taste the crunchiness of the Coco Krunch.

Everything is perfect about Nestle Coco Krunch but the price is too costly. I will still choose to have a heavy breakfast for us than buying it regularly to local groceries. But overall, Nestle Coco Krunch is a recommended healthy food for kids and young mavericks.

McDonald's Crispy Chicken Fillet

100 pesos for my travel expenses, 100 pesos for my meal, 50 for emergency expenses for the day...this was how hard I budget my money when I was still working in Makati. Yes, if you thought that all employees in this city has extravagant life you are actually given a misleading fact. Let me tell you for almost five years of work as a call center agent, my salary aren't enough to supplement mine and my family basic needs. That was the reason why I learn to budget my money. In fact, in choosing my lunch that time, I prefer to buy the McDonald's Crispy Chicken Fillet with Rice than their classic Chicken Mcdo. Cheaper than the latter but still flavorful. 

When compare to Chicken Mcdo it's true that the Crispy Chicken Fillet is smaller but if you notice the first one is just bony that it makes it look bigger than the fillet. Well in fact, I can appreciate more the taste of the real chicken when it's boneless, at least I will not have a hard time eating the chicken's flesh. And did I say the breading makes the Chicken Mcdo appearance bigger? True. Bottomline is, despite of being small, Mcdo chicken fillet proves that it can still satisfy my hunger after a long day in the office.

Now that I am no longer a full-time employee, I am missing to eat this low budget meal in Mcdo, this 50 pesos meal really been part of my adventure to save more money in the future. It is really value meal. McDonald's Crispy Chicken Fillet, I love it.

Powerbooks

More than having a new celfone or latest gadget in the market, I would prefer to buy books. I love books, though I don't have a particular subject that I prefer to read. Fiction or non fiction, it doesn't matter to me, as long as it is interesting to read and I feel the enjoyment reading it. I also don't have a particular place where I prefer to read books, quiet or not , I can finish reading a short novel in just one sitting. That is how I am addicted to books. If the book is too expensive, there's one place in town where I can read it for free. What's that place ? It's Powerbooks. 

When I was still working at a call center in Makati, 3 hours before my shift starts , I regularly visiting Powerbooks Greenbelt Branch. The reason is that they are the only bookstore that allows you to sit in their couches while reading their books for free. The concept of the store is similar to a library where nobody will disturb you in reading. But of course, if its closing time, you need to leave and by the way, don't bring the book at home unless you bought it. 

I prefer to buy books in Powerbooks than National Bookstore eventhough the price is more expensive. It is because customer service in Powerbooks Store is superb, people here are nice, friendly and very accomodating. One time I am looking for the book of Rich Dad Poor Dad, the sales representative helped me to find it quickly, and for other books that I am looking for, she assisted me in the kiosk where you can digitally find the books your searching for.

Avon Sales Representative

These days, who does not want to earn an extra income on top of your full time salary ? I must say all of us would love to have it. I know, because I feel the same thing. I remember, when I wasn't familiar yet in making money online I seek for part time jobs to increase my monthly income. I felt that my salary from the my first job in a local radio station in our province wasn't enough to pay my household expenses. I am not the breadwinner in the family but I have some obligations to help them at least. Until one colleague recommended me to try a sales job in Avon. 

I was convinced to try being a sales representative for avon. One factor that influenced me to grab this opportunity was my passion in selling and marketing. Though I wasn't a graduate of a business course, I knew to myself that I was capable for the job. Another reason was, I can do it part-time in any places even in my neighborhood. It maybe odd to see a guy selling cosmetic product but because I would like to have an extra income, I don't mind it at all. 

In my first week of promoting avon, I was able to have my regular clients. Most of them are close friends, relatives and neighbors. At first , it turned to be profitable , I was able to sell lots of cosmetic items, clothes and make-ups, with the help of my mom, we made almost 3.000 pesos extra income. But as clients became one regular buyers, my mom and I saw the disadvantage of promoting Avon. Some clients turned to be a bad borrowers, some of them did not pay us until the day I decided to stop involving myself in this job. It is too late for me to realized, selling of Avon is not for me, it is a waste of my time and effort.
